My garden

I am so excited to finally be at the stage where we are finished with the hard landscaping and starting to plant. The garden is terraced with beautiful, natural Scarborough granite that we have from excavating our home when we built on to the existing structure. Just about everything in the garden is indigenous to the area, a combination of shade and sun plants, with lots of fynbos and proteas.

More details and photo's to come.

Succulently

I absolutely love succulents, I've been taking cuttings from friends, and have started a little nursery in a corner of the outside deck. At the moment we are busy landscaping the back garden, and in time I will replant these guys out there.

Coastline

This is the coastal road that runs through our village, it's along the main route to the Cape Point nature reserve. If you feel a bit down, the sublime beauty of a walk or drive along here is guaranteed to put you in a better frame of mind and help put your worries in perspective.
